After a three month hiatus I decided to get back into DOW2 and last night had me punching my monitor because for some goddamn reason setting my ranged units to ranged stance did nothing; My Ork Shootas kept stubbornly attempting to engage banshees in melee no matter what I did with their stance settings. This kept happening until one of my Ork Shoota squads died and the bug somehow resolved itself.

Is this a known bug? I hope someone looks into it because it's a real pooper..

I think it's because u ordered squad to attack in melee, then changed attack-type to range but the order didnt changed. The best way to ensure your squad will attack range again after you have changed the stance is to give them order to move somewhere then order to attack again. I prefer not to change stance at all and use the key to attack some squad in melee or range
