well since the operative patch that made me develop strong feelings of self-loathing whenever i played gk i haven’t really mained any one hero aside from a brief spell with all three ork heroes, preferring to troll around with random instead

so i figured i would let the community decide what i play, this poll has my favorite hero from each race, cast your vote and let me know what I should play, feel free to vote for whatever hero you can wreck the easiest

i have to put an option for every race (and it says in the op that it's my favorite hero from each faction) so i have to include the BC otherwise that would be biased, and have i ever been biased about anything?

I would recommend Sorcerer. His abilities are all about control over the map and locking down the enemy.

Warp Sigil turns any unit into a jump unit, and can ruin enemy ambushes and setup teams. The Warp armor and Warp global allow for even further map control, with the latter also allowing for retreating your own vehicles and Terminators.

Doombolt + Consume (with Heretics) and the Curse of Tzeentch absolutely ruin blobbed armies like Nids and IG.

Chains of Torment are perfect for snagging up melee armies to protect your own ranged units - or the opposite, allowing your own melee units to attack ranged units without being kited.

Chains of Torment also traps units to unleash varying globals on the enemy with impunity - particularly Dark Flames and Empyreal Abyss.

Tome of Subjugation can help give you the edge in a battle, particularly when you subjugate enemy units like Terminators and get them to waste cooldown abilities like Teleport.

I know the poll is closed, but I'm going to throw my support for the Ragener Alpha.

And even by the time I'd joined retail, I found it was difficult to find good replays with skilled RA players. It seemed like everyone either went LA or HT. So please take RA so I can copy - I mean - study your gameplay

Look for Acra and Soom playing ravener if you can find any. Altho Soom was pretty inconsistent and sometimes terrible in later retail when he had alredy retired several times, but you might still be able to pick up some pointers.

Thanks! I'd heard of Soom before, but not Acra. I'll look for them.
