				Knockback in Retreat

				So I have noticed that sometimes things like Plasma Cannons and even Special attacks occasionaly knockback models in retreat. I guess that is a bug but I just wanted to be sure. (about the Plasma Cannon mostly, the Special attacks KB is definitely a bug

Ability  knockbacks can knockback on retreat
some normal attacks, special attacks are concidered abilitys  knockback , hence they knockback on retreat.

				The domino effect can still knockback units already in retreat. In other words another model knocked into the model making it fall down much like it would in normal life

That's not really correct anymore as we have kept some attacks as ability knockback with an additional retreat check.

Thare are still abilitys that kockback in retreat still correct  ?

				Yeah, ability knockback stills knocks back in retreat, however a lot of what was ability knockback on retail has been changed to a third type of knockback (the name I forget), and this knockback functions the same as ability knockback other than it not knocking back in retreat.

the new kind of knockback doesn't really have a name, but think of it as "heavy knockback."
That is, it will still knockback heavy units like terminators, chaos lords, hive tyrants, etc but can't knockback in retreat.
Examples are walker special attacks, charges from warboss, ven dread, HT, etc
The changelog has a pretty nice list of what abilities do "heavy knockback"

				what are you talking about? There is no "3rd knockback type". You can trust Lulgrim on that :p
It is just that there is a modifier that allowes to check on retreat. If there was a weapon knockback ability to be checked as working on retreat it will knock back on retreat. No 3rd knockback type needed.
"but still knock back heavy non-retreating units" != new knockback type.

				ability; it knocks things through walls and hits retreating units. i've tried to use grenades and kenetic shot on my farseer to make holes in the wall before but i've never quite gotten it to work. i do wish that kenetic shot was point instead of target though; it effects allies either way.

Such a thing will never work with FS. You'll need a bigger hero to get successful with this.

				my biggest issue was that grenades tended to make her go straight up so i never found out if her size was an issue.
