Can you play offline against bots in the latest version of Elite?

From the main menu
Multiplayer -> Custom Games -> Private -> Fill up spots with Computers

Of course you can, just start Steam in offline mod and it'll work.

It doesnt asmo.
I had no internet for like 9 days this month and I could only play campaign.. maybe check it yourself before giving wrong information. Thanks

Yeah, but the AI kinda sucks. Elite Mod prevents your units from auto attacking power nodes when you stand next to them or do an attack move, which inadvertently prevents the AI from bashing your power. They'll walk over and awkwardly stand next to your nodes until you run them off.

also Ai likes to spam some units like raptors or rangers
